Our retreats
Our unique 3 day retreats provide a safe space for doctors to stop, reflect on their lives, and create a space to plan the changes you need. Participants are limited to optimize your experience.
As doctors with our own lived experiences and inside knowledge, we understand the stress of medicine and how to support you.
Covid policy- transfer to new date or 100% refund if conference cancelled due to covid.
If you are unable to attend due to being in isolation/quarantine/unwell with covid, you will be refunded with a $100 cancellation fee. See Terms and conditions page for full details.
Sample itinerary
Our sessions use a combination of presentations, large and small group facilitated discussions.
Day 1
Explore the need for balance and how neglecting well being leads to burn out and mental health issues in doctors. We will take time to look at the system factors contributing to burn out.
Renee Lim will perform “Grace under pressure” dramatic performance and discussion around the stressors doctors face.
We will spend some time with mindfulness exercises.
We will have dinner and drinks are provided onsite to network and support each other
(morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner included)
Day 2
We will spend time in large and small groups exploring some of the society factors, personal factors and specialty specific factors that impact upon our well being.We will look at building skills for stress management and include meditation.
A lovely 3 course dinner sourcing local ingredients including dinner and drinks at the hotel to network and support each other.
Informal time by the bonfire (weather permitting)

Day 3
Spend time in pairs or small groups developing your individual action plan, strategies to implement change and a discussion on supporting colleagues and changing systems
We will close by 4pm
